Zebra Safety Knife - Ergonomic Knife with High Application Safety

Safety, performance, ergonomics and comfort are essential product features for universal knives. With this in mind, Würth has completely revised and enhanced its tried and tested ZEBRA safety knife for trapezoidal and hook blades. The new knife is equipped with a completely newly designed handle in two-component plastic. The new handle shape guarantees a safe and comfortable grip and is specially adapted to the particular requirements for the widest variety of cutting processes. Along with these product features, the new handle shape provides optimal conditions for low fatigue and comfortable working. The specially selected handle material with its pleasant surface feel contributes further to the ergonomics of the knife. A further innovation is the smooth opening mechanism for the blade magazine integrated into the handle – the jerk-free opening action ensures that the magazine contents remain securely stored and cannot fall out. Tried and tested product features, such as the tool-free blade change, additional securing of the blades in the blade holder via a magnet and the high quality bi-metal blade have been retained.

As an evolution of the previous model, the new Würth ZEBRA knife can now be locked in the extended position, significantly improving comfort during cutting. Further improvements include the handle, developed in accordance with the latest ergonomic findings, as well as the handling of the blade magazine integrated into the handle. This can accommodate a total of five spare blades.

As a result, users can benefit from both a longer tool life and above all, significantly improved safety compared with blades that suddenly break and send blade fragments flying uncontrollably.
